The FATBoy nozzle is a great option as an addition to any of the 2" ID FissureMan II Hand Dredge models. This optional nozzle allows the user to collect larger size and amounts of sand and gravel material on each stroke with its large bore 1.5" internal diameter and 8" length.
This nozzle utilizes the FissureMan II bayonet twist connection so that it may be placed directly on the collection chamber of the FissureMan II Hand Dredge. Alternatively, it may be connected to just the piston body of the hand dredge if the collection chamber is not going to be used. This configuation allows easier accessing of material in tight surroundings where the collection chamber may not fit.
The nozzle's internal flap valve retains all collected material as it's gathered and enters the dredge body. The flap valve assembly has been designed to be removeable should the need to replace it ever occur. This ability to be removed allows economical valve replacement without replacing the entire nozzle.
